Home Information Packs
From 1st August 2007, for all properties with 4 bedrooms or more it will be necessary to have a Home Information Pack prior to the property sale being completed. It is expected that there will be a rollout to smaller properties as the year progresses with all properties being sold eventually needing a Home Information Pack.

The contents of the Home Information Pack include legal documents showing the title of the property and a title plan outlining the boundaries, searches of the local authority relating to the property, a title plan outlining the boundaries of the property and an Energy Performance Certificate which identifies the current energy rating of the property and areas that can be focused on to improve energy efficiency.

All of these documents will then be compiled into a pack to provide to prospective buyers of the property with a view to the transaction progressing more smoothly and effectively due to the information being gathered upfront. New Service
We are pleased to confirm that we are now able to accept payment by debit or credit card in addition to the wealth of other services that we can offer. Payment by debit card is free, however in order to cover the operating costs associated with payments by credit card, a 3% fee is levied.

Supermove - Cutting Edge Conveyancing
Burton Burton & Ho are proud to announce that their successful Conveyancing divison will now be called Supermove.  

We now feel the time is right to give our Conveyancing Division a brand which really lives up to the work that we do – aiming to make clients move a Supermove. Along with our slogan ‘Cutting Edge Conveyancing’ we are at the forefront of Conveyancing, embracing new technologies wherever possible to make our clients lives easier.  

Just two examples of this are Supertrack – enabling you to track the progress of their case online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By taking advantage of this service, you will also be automatically updated on a weekly basis by your Conveyancing Executive, advising what is outstanding before we can get your transaction through to completion.  

The other is Supertext, where we are able to update you when key stages of your transaction have been reached by text message to your mobile phone, enabling you to stay in touch with the progress of your case, wherever you are in the world.

New Conveyancing Division
Keep an eye out in the local press and across Leeds over the coming weeks as Burton Burton & Ho launch their new conveyancing division. All will be revealed on April 19th 2005.

We are pleased to announce a number of additions and improvements to our conveyancing services. These include:

Online Case Tracking
This facility enables you to track the progress of your transaction securely through the internet. You will be able to view the latest information on how your case is proceeding and also the key stages that need to be completed to progress your case to completion.

Text messaging
You are now able to receive text messages direct to your mobile phone informing you when key stages of your transaction have been reached, updating you of the progress of your case in real time.

Land Registry Direct
As part of our ongoing strategy to ensure that we use the most effective way to communicate with suppliers, clients and other organisations we are pleased to announce that we have now started to use Land Registry's direct internet service. This enables us to request key documents from the Land Registry and receive them through the internet rather than the traditional paper based methods. In turn, this benefits you as our clients as we are able to progress your case through to completion much more effectively.
